The autumn color in the Wasatch Range of north Utah can be amazing. These rugged mountains seem to be splashed with color from a massive brush. A snowstorm had moved through and as it cleared at the end of the day a shaft of gold light made its way in and lit the hillside below. Light takes on special qualities as storms begin to clear and this can be a great time to capture unique images.
