It had rained pretty heavy during the early evening hours so I knew there was potential for what some refer to as a dreamscape scene. I rose at about 3:00 am so I could climb the mountain and reach the ridge before sunrise. It paid off as first light colored the sky with reds, yellows and gold. Reflected light from the clouds brightened the landscape below as the low pressure fog hung among the hills. An amazing site that I'm glad I was able to capture so I would have the ability to share this as nature wall decor and also as a reminder of how privileged I was as a witness. Fine art landscape photographers spend a lifetime seeking this kind of scene.
