Description:
Idaho, old barn in the Pioneer Mountains, #dr8
I love the look of old barn wood. This unique character is of course the result of weathering over a period of many years. A barn like this one is definitely an enhancement to a landscape rather than a distraction. A modern metal building just wouldn't work in this image. A building like this can make you wonder about the people that built it. They were Pioneers. Seems appropriate since this is in the range called the Pioneer Mountains.

A lovely country composition! Lovely colors of the sky and reflection of them on the surroundings throughout this dreamy serene almost painterly like feeling scene! : )
