It took five images on film to create this panoramic of Priest Lake. After leveling the tripod I swiveled the head and made images of each section starting from the right and ending on the left so I could capture the entire lake. After drum scanning the individual images I later assembled them using photoshop. It was hair-raising travel to get to this location and fortunately I got some good morning light. I knew the only way to represent this scene was as a panoramic, otherwise it would have lost much of the drama and beauty.
