Description:
Idaho, south east, south fork of Snake River in winter BW, #dr105
While everyone else is snug in the warmth of their homes during a ten below morning, I’m often out taking advantage of the opportunities these conditions provide. As the fog clears, the trees covered with a blanket of white frost begin to show, looking almost like they grew that way with white as their natural color. The only water flowing is where the rapids prevent ice from forming and the texture of the crystal snow makes for a loud crunch under the feet.
