Charmian Vistaunet

I live on the island of Oahu. I find the simple things in life to be my biggest inspiration.

After graduating from Pacific Union College with a 4-yr degree in Photography in 2005, I picked up and moved to Hawaii. I am employed full-time at a local stock photography agency, Pacific Stock; I am Director of Art Content for Printscapes.com (art prints branch of Pacific Stock).

On the side, I continue to persue my personal passion for the outdoors and nature. Most of my work is inspired by natural patterns and textures, motion, and afternoon lighting. I am truly a starving artist, living paycheck-to-paycheck with barely enough time to explore my own photos, but I am unbelievably blessed and happy.

I am very passionate about the environment and preserving the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands; in my work, I hope to capture scenes that remind people of what this place should look like in its natural beauty.
