I have been looking at this trying to figure out what 'coming soon' ment. Must mean I better write something or they'll make it up for me! I'm 65 yrs old and spent most of my life as a truck driver, 49 states and Canada. The best part of my life was when I was training dogs. Unfortunately I'm not so good at business and end'ed up doing to much for free and client's I had to chase to get my money didn't help. All those years I was into and out of photography but never got very serious about it till I retired. I take photo's I like to look at and if you see some hidden meaning in them, great! I only see something I like to look at. Been doing digital about 8yrs now but am getting back into film. I really like working with manual med format cameras. I have a Yashica 635 and an RB67 and a Pentax 645 NII. Now, my digital has become just a carry around camera. Have a Nikon F5 I bought brand new, about 6 mos before I got my first digital! Didn't take long for it to lose it's value. I keep it only because it's such a nice camera, dont remember how to work it, actually I never did learn how very well!
The more gizmos and neat programs they build into cameras, the more confused I get. I really wish they understood, all I want to do is take a picture! I sure don't need a camera sitting on the seat next to me carrying on a conversation on the way home! I love my RB and my Yashica! They are both deaf and dumb and just do what I ask them to do, although there are time's I'm quite sure I didn't ask for what I got. They are a lot like a dog. They sit there and keep their mouth shut and at times actually do what I want, very comforting. If you find any spelling error's in this feel free to ignor them, I don't spell so good!
Life is much to short to take seriously!
