Francine Frank - Fine Artist
Francine was born and raised in Bucks County, PA. Her father was a student of Walter E. Baum, a famous Bucks County Artist who painted the quaint Pennsylvania countryside circa 1920s - 1950s. She often accompanied her father when he painted plein aire, leaning on his shoulder, observing his technique. Doing so, enabled her to learn many aspects of the craft. She enjoys saving earth landscapes on canvas, prefering to work outdoors. She also enjoys capturing the human figure as well. Francine has lived in Maine since 2000 and has captured many beautiful scenes of Maine both through the camera lens and on canvas. She prefers working in oils and dabbles in watercolor, pastels, and paper-mache and stone sculpture.
